What to consider when choosing a moisturizer

Here’s the skinny on why vitamin infused moisturizer is a daily must have

Vitamin Infused Moisturizer reverses early signs of aging, mature skin, environmental damage and dullness. It can be used for sensitive or acne-prone types to rid skin eruption in addition to smoothing out the surface. This serum is safe and effective for all skin types of all ages and is recommended as an essential part of a post clinical facial treatment.

Key Ingredients to note

Vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, DMAE and alpha lipoic acid

Vitamin A - Retinyl palmitate helps tackle a long list of skincare needs like fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone, rough texture and dark spots. Using a retinol palmitate regularly also helps naturally boost collagen production to keep your skin firm and smooth.

Adding a vitamin infused moisturizer is a great way to keep your skin looking and feeling healthy. It has all the nutrients your skin needs, plus powerful antioxidants that will help reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin C - As an antioxidant, vitamin C can help protect the skin from environmental stressors that contribute to premature aging, such as UV radiation and pollution. It can also help stimulate collagen production, which can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin D - Which Vitamin D Is Best For Skin? Vitamin D3 also known as cholecalciferol, is a form of vitamin D that is produced naturally in your body upon exposure to sunlight. Vitamin D3 in its activated form does all the wonders on your skin regeneration and other metabolic functions in the skin.

DMAE - One of the most common ingredients found in vitamin infused moisturizers is DMAE. This ingredient has been shown to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by up to 40%, lighten skin tone by up to 10%, and tighten skin by up to 30%.

Alpha lipoic acid works as an antioxidant which helps prevent damage caused by free radicals - the damaging molecules produced by UV rays from sunlight or pollution.

In The Know About Your Skincare Routine

Did you know your skin is the largest organ in the body and makes up about 20% of your total weight?

Intelligent by design. Your skin is designed to protect you from bacteria, viruses and other germs, while helping regulate body temperature, blood circulation and fluid balance.

In addition to its protective functions, healthy skin also keeps you looking youthful and radiant.

However, our skin changes with age due to factors such as genetics, sun exposure, pollution and stress; this can lead to signs of aging like wrinkles or uneven pigmentation. Fortunately there are many simple steps you can take at home every day that will help improve your complexion over time!

How often should you Exfoliate?

You can exfoliate your skin once or twice a week by using a natural scrub or exfoliating paste. These products help remove dead skin cells that build up on your face and clog pores, which can lead to acne. You should look for a gentle scrub that isn't too harsh, since you don't want to irritate the skin on your face. A good rule of thumb is: if it hurts when you rub it across your forearm, then it's probably too harsh for your face!

You'll want to use these types of products because they contain ingredients like sea salt or sugar (which are gentle) and oils like coconut oil (which moisturize).

The most important step in protecting your skin is to use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50. Apply a generous amount of sunscreen to all exposed areas of your body, including your face, neck and ears. It's best if you can apply this 20 minutes before going outside so it has time to absorb into the skin properly. Reapply every 2 hours if you are outside for an extended period of time or if you get wet (for example, taking a dip in the pool).

Here’s our ideal version of your daily routine to preserve your youth

  • Cleanse your face with a gentle cleanser.

  • Scrub your face with a natural scrub or exfoliating paste. Exfoliate your skin three times per week. You can use a mild exfoliator or scrub to remove dead skin cells, which often accumulate on the surface of our faces and bodies. This helps to keep pores clear, resulting in smoother-looking skin that looks younger than its years (and also makes makeup application easier). If you have sensitive skin, however, it may be best not to use one at all--or try only once every two weeks instead.

  • Apply an antioxidant serum like vitamin C (ideally containing 20% or less L-ascorbic acid) for brightening effects over time

  • Moisturize your face with a light moisturizer that includes vitamins and antioxidants. Try our Vitamin Infused Moisturizer formulated to reverses early signs of aging, environmental damage and dullness.

  • Protect your skin with a lightweight sunscreen that offers broad-spectrum protection (UVA/UVB) each morning before heading out the door. Remember your lips as well need to be protected. Our clients love the Coconut Lip Balm we’ve curated to include SPF 15 as a natural protector for your luscious lips.

So there you have it! With just a few easy steps you can make sure your skin stays healthy and beautiful.
